Salt Marsh Opera is an equal opportunity organization. Discrimination and harassment will not be tolerated in any of our activities or operations, including appointment and removal of Board members; hiring and firing of employees or contractors; selection of performers, volunteers, and vendors; and providing of services. We will provide reasonable accommodations to applicants and employees who need them for medical or religious reasons, as required by law.

Employees can report discrimination to the President of our Board of Trustees, via email at [email protected]. Salt Marsh Opera will promptly and impartially investigate all complaints of discrimination; and, where necessary, it will promptly undertake effective corrective and/or preventative action.

Employees and other individuals associated with Salt Marsh Opera will not be punished for good faith reporting of discrimination, participating in a discrimination investigation or lawsuit, or opposing discrimination. We will protect the confidentiality of individuals who report discrimination or participate in a related investigation to the greatest extent possible. Whenever appropriate and practicable, upon request, Salt Marsh Opera will notify an individual who reports discrimination about the status of their complaint, the results of any investigation, and any corrective and preventative action taken in response.

All Board members, employees, and other persons in leadership or management roles or having human resources responsibilities at Salt Marsh Opera are required to respond appropriately to discrimination or report it to individuals who are authorized to respond.
